2025 Boxing New Zealand Championships ~ 23-27th September ~ Te Rauparaha Arena, Porirua, Wellington
Pacific Boxings Jeff Elia and his dedicated boxing team are embarking on an exciting journey to Haringey, England, to participate in Europe's largest open boxing tournament. This renowned event attracts top-tier talent from across the continent. The tournament will take place from June 14 to 16, and the team will depart on June 5 and return on June 22.
This remarkable trip has been made possible through the team's self-funding efforts. Since September of last year, they have tirelessly worked to raise funds, recognising the immense value of international exposure for their boxers.
The esteemed tournament in Haringey provides an exceptional platform for the boxers to showcase their skills and gain invaluable experience. Elia expresses his gratitude for the trust the boxers' families placed in him, acknowledging the arduous journey to prepare for this pinnacle event.
This tournament is a true test of skill and grit, with an impressive line-up of fighters. In Novek Tomokino's division alone, two current European Champions set the stage for an intense and competitive clash. Meanwhile, Celine Lee-lo faces a potential showdown with the English and Irish Champions, showcasing the high stakes and top-level competition.
The tournament boasts a truly international flavour, with 17 countries represented and a cap of 400 boxers. This creates an atmosphere of unparalleled excitement and a chance for Elia and his team to prove their mettle against some of the best Europe has to offer.
